They were joined by oyster grower, Chris Ludford, who spoke about the comeback of the Lynnhaven River oyster.
Norfolk Academy’s Chesapeake Bay Fellows began on August 8, 2011. The six Fellows, accompanied by Program Director, Chris Nelson, embarked on a five-day Chesapeake Bay adventure. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, our partners in this new initiative, led us on an unforgettable, hands-on week that started at home on the Lynnhaven River and culminated on Smith Island, MD.
