Chris’ first Bay project was to investigate crabs, crabbing regulations, and the economies of crabbing. His interest in crabbing stems from an experience in his first summer as a Fellow (2011) on Smith Island, MD. He and Courtney Byler are currently leading our discussion of William Warner’s Beautiful Swimmers.
He and Ellie Randolph are currently working towards a composting program for Norfolk Academy, an effort that will reduce the school’s environmental impact significantly. The goal is to have a student population that produces zero lunch waste.
Chris is an accomplished athlete. He is a hurdler on the Norfolk Academy Track Team. In his free time he enjoys hip hop dancing. Check him out on You Tube.
